2017 – HTC

The 9th edition of the Intelligent Sensor Networks Conference took place on November 8, 2017, at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

This edition focused on sensor networks for smart industry and smart maintenance.

The complete program featured 13 speakers in total and was opened by Mary-Ann Schreurs, Vice-Mayor, City of Eindhoven, with a speech on the acceleration of digital innovation.

Other speakers from Yokogawa, Brainport Development, World Class Maintenance, Nozomi Networks, InPhoTech, Zensor, Thales and more covered extensively the topics of interest.

The conference also included a session on Big Data and Smart Industry, powered by Fieldlab High Tech Software Cluster. The discussions during the session tackled Process Mining and Data Engineering for Smart Industry.

Furthermore, the growing importance of photonics in smart maintenance was also approached during presentations on Fibre Optic Sensing as a base of Asset Management and Preserving critical infrastructures using optical fiber.
