Indoor positioning use cases in Retail, Care, Smart Buildings and Large Venues – Presented by Dirk Callaerts, BlooLoc, at the Intelligent Sensor Networks Conference, which will take place on November 8, 2017, at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

In this presentation, several real-life applications and use cases of indoor positioning will be shown based on real deployments in supermarkets, hospitals, senior care residences, offices, schools, etc. It will be shown how indoor positioning forms the basis for big data analysis, customer behavior, asset management, facility management, indoor navigation, safety, geofencing, etc.

About Dirk Callaerts
Dirk Callaerts started his career as a Professor at the KU Leuven, but in 1994 switched his career to become a serial entrepreneur. He co-founded and headed a couple of start-ups (Easics NV – digital ASIC design, Eyetronics NV – 3D scanning) was a management consultant for a couple of years. He has co-founded BlooLoc in December 2014 and is currently the CEO and Managing Director of Sales & Marketing.
